They went to the spaceport, using which the survivors are transported to the transport spacecraft. In the process, the hero receives information that some people managed to escape. The character will again conduct shootouts with a familiar enemy. The shooter consists of three dozen levels - from simple arenas to long mazes, and 2 secret ones - Wolfenstein and Grosse, which at first were Easter eggs with separate textures, soundtracks and SS men from Wolfenstein. Monsters rage on military bases and city streets, so the leveling architecture in the game is appropriate. In the previous part, the protagonist managed to deal with the monsters on Mars, Phobos, Deimos, and now it's the turn of the home planet. Story DOOM 2 continues, and the hero - a marine, having defeated enemies from the underworld, goes to Earth, which the monsters have turned into a real hell.
